Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at an upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, possesses a strong understanding of social media platforms, and has experience developing engaging content strategies. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative social media campaigns that effectively promote our brand, attract new customers, and engage with our loyal patrons.
Develop and implement social media strategies: Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, increase engagement, and drive traffic to the restaurant's online platforms.
Content creation: Create compelling and visually appealing content, including photos, videos, and written posts, that showcase our upscale restaurant, menu items, ambiance, events, and promotions. Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone and image.
Manage social media accounts: Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Regularly update content, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build meaningful relationships.
Community management: Monitor and actively participate in online conversations related to our brand, industry trends, and local food scene. Foster a sense of community and maintain a positive brand reputation by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Social media advertising: Develop and execute targeted advertising campaigns on social media platforms to promote special events, new menu items, and exclusive offers. Monitor campaign performance and optimize as necessary to maximize ROI.
Influencer partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with relevant social media influencers and bloggers to promote our restaurant. Collaborate with influencers to develop engaging content and monitor the effectiveness of influencer campaigns.
Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of campaigns. Provide regular reports on engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and other relevant metrics to the management team.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing, particularly in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Implement innovative ideas and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to create engaging content, including photos, videos, and written posts.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iMovie) is a plus.
