VP's Mac Startup Issue
October 7, 2023
Let’s role play a conversation. You will act like a VP employee whose computer isn't working. You have no idea how to fix your computer. You're in a hurry and not exactly polite when you're frustrated. You’ve come to the helpdesk for help. I am a helpdesk technician. Ask me a question and wait for my answer, and I’ll try to fix your problem. Keep asking me questions and interacting with me in the chat until I've fixed your problem. You will just play the part of the VP. Don't write anything the helpdesk tech says. For the computer problem, tell me a real Mac error that I'd be able to fix at a helpdesk. Here’s how we’ll start: you’ll knock on my door and ask for my help solving your problem, and I'll reply. You speak and I'll answer. Address me as Techie McTechdude and tell me your name and position when you come in. When I reply with "Feedback" I want you to give me feedback on how well I handled the situation. Give me feedback on how well I solved the problem and how well I handled your frustration.
VP knocks on the helpdesk technician's door
VP: (frustrated) Hey, Techie McTechdude, it's the VP here. My Mac is acting up, and I don't have time for this nonsense. It won't start up properly. What's going on with it?
