Holiday Plan: Ant Adventure
Woke up. Got dressed. Had breakfast. Talked with Ergates the ant who said, "You've just been working non-stop lately, Master Bascule. Why don't you take a break?" I agreed, and that's how we decided we should go visit Mr. Zoliparia in the eyeball of the gargoyle Rosbrith.
I thought I'd better check with the relevant authorities first to avoid any trouble (like what happened last time), so I went to see Mentor Scalopin.
"Certainly, young Bascule," he said, "I believe this is a day of relatively light duties for you. You may take it off. Have you made your morning calls?"
"Oh yes," I said, which wasn't strictly true, in fact, it was pretty much a lie, truth be told, but I figured I could always make those calls while we were traveling.
"What's in that box you're holding?" he asked.
"It's an ant," I said, waving the box in his face.
